
Tom joined Blackpeak Capital with more than 20 years experience in corporate finance, central banking and banking regulation in the UK, Australia and Asia. Tom spent a decade at Credit Suisse in London where he was a senior investment banker specialised in advising clients across banking, insurance and asset management.
Following Credit Suisse Tom worked at the Bank of England where he was responsible for closing-down and restructuring troubled financial institutions.
Tom advised on several landmark transactions during the financial crisis including advising HM Treasury in their investments in RBS, Lloyds and HBOS (£37bn) and other financial stability measures such as the £280bn Asset Protection Scheme.
Tom leads Blackpeak’s coverage of the financial technology sector which combines his deep knowledge of regulated financial services with Blackpeak’s track record in the technology sector.
